For years, I struggled with a rare autoimmune skin disorder that left my skin fragile, irritated, and difficult to manage. When the government shutdown happened, many people experienced uncertainty — including me. I suddenly had time I didn’t expect. Time to breathe, reflect, and finally listen to the whisper that had been in my heart:

I turned my kitchen into a lab.
Shea butter, aloe, murumuru, ceramides — I studied everything.
I researched ingredient functions, watched lectures, ordered raw materials, tested ratios, and tracked texture changes.

I created, failed, adjusted, perfected.

There were nights I cried because a batch separated.
